Amlan Roy is an experienced Global Macro-Finance Researcher and thought Leader specialising in Global Macroeconomics and demographics. His book “Demographics Unravelled” published by Wiley in Jan 2022 was mentioned by the FT as one of the best new books in Economics. He is a keynote speaker and advisor who has engaged with institutional clients across 30+ countries. He is currently Senior Advisor (Macro Research), Investments at LCP.

He is also a Research Associate at two LSE Research Centres—the Financial Markets Group and Systemic Risk Centre. He is also an elected Honorary Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.

He founded Global Macro Demographics in July 2021. Previously over April 2019-June 2021, he was Head of Global Macro Research and Senior MD with State Street Global Advisors (the 3rd largest global asset manager). Prior to that he was Chief Retirement Strategist. He was MD and Head of Global Demographics & Pensions Research with Credit Suisse Investment Bank 1998-2016. In a prior role within CS, as a global EM strategist, he developed global risk and allocation models as an expert on Financial Architecture during the Asian and Russian crises.

Amlan spent a decade in academia with a distinguished teaching career in the US and UK. He was UK ESRC Research Fellow, Ponders Fellow, a Boston University Doctoral Scholar and a Government of India National Scholar.  He has a PhD and MA in Financial Economics from the University of Iowa, an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and an undergraduate Economics with Honours degree from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi.

Ashok Vaswani is the President of Pagaya – a FinTech that combines the power of data with contemporary technology to help its Partners make better decisions for their customers, while delivering superior returns for institutional investors.

Prior to Pagaya, Ashok spent 12 years at Barclays as a member of the Group Executive Committee, running their Consumer, Corporate, Private Bank and Payment Divisions across the US, Europe, UK and Africa. He was responsible for the set-up of Barclays ring fence bank in the UK and took a 328-year-old bank from the analog age to the digital age. Ashok also spent 20 years at Citigroup holding positions as CEO, Asia Pacific and CFO, US Cards Business. He was also a member of the Citigroup Operating and Management Committee. With Citigroup, Ashok has lived and work in Asia, Middle East, Eastern Europe, Europe and the United States.  Between these two assignments, Ashok was a Partner at Brysam Global Partners, a JPMC funded private equity firm whose mandate was to build out consumer businesses in the emerging markets.

In addition to his passion to building businesses, Ashok is a firm believer in the power of education and has served on the Boards of Lend-a-Hand, Insead, Singapore, Pratham and the S P Jain Institute of Management, London. In addition, he has served on the board of Telenor, a Norwegian telecoms company, VISA Asia, Citizens Advice, UK. He currently sits on the Board of the London Stock Exchange Group.

Kfir L Godrich, Managing Director, is Chief Innovation Officer for BlackRock. He is responsible for driving firm's innovation agenda, the connection with the broad financial and technology ecosystems, including partnerships and ventures that accelerate growth. He is continuously exploring new and emerging technologies under an applied innovation strategy, to practically implement them at BlackRock. In addition, he is responsible for Information Security, Aladdin Data and BlacRock's AI Labs. He also serves as a member of BlackRock's Global Operating Committee.

Mr. Godrich service with the firm dates to 2014 as Global Head of Technology for BlackRock. Prior to that, Kfir served as CTO for Hewlett Packard Co. (HP) Technology Services, where he was responsible for road-mapping technology for company's Consulting and Support business units, as well as Advisory Board for HP Labs. He international experience lays in complex systems. Over the years Kfir's worked spanned chronologically from C4ISR to Data Centers, Alternative Energy, Fintech, Cyber, Data and Analytics and ML/AI. He received National Security awards, has been recognized as AI Pioneer at the United Nations, and has a rich portfolio of technology IP. Kfir began his career in the IAF after completing Electrical and Computer Engineering studies at Ben Gurion University.

Mohan Kankanhalli is Provost's Chair Professor of Computer Science at the National University of Singapore and the Deputy Executive Chairman of AI Singapore. He was formerly the Dean of NUS School of Computing from 2016 to 2022. Prior to becoming the Dean, he was the NUS Vice Provost (Graduate Education) during 2014-2016 and Associate Provost (Graduate Education) during 2011-2013. Mohan’s research interests are in Computer Vision, Multimedia Computing and Multimedia Security & Privacy. He has made fundamental contributions in image and video understanding, content authentication, privacy and trustworthy AI. He is currently the director of N-CRiPT (NUS Centre for Research in Privacy Technologies) in which he leads initiatives on multimedia privacy and trustworthy machine learning. Mohan is a member of World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on the Future of Artificial Intelligence.

Serey Chea is the Governor of National Bank of Cambodia. She is passionate about financial inclusion and women economic empowerment. Achievements under her leadership include the establishment of Credit Bureau Cambodia in 2012 that propelled Cambodia’s Ease of Access to Finance to number 7 worldwide in 2017 by the World Bank, the introduction of Bakong, a national backbone payment system using DLT allowing interoperability amongst all financial service providers making financial services more accessible and affordable, and the introduction of financial literacy into the general education program. Serey hold a PhD in economics and is a member of the Young Global Leaders of the World Economic Forum.

Sigal Mandelker joined Ribbit Capital in April 2020. Ribbit is an investment firm focused on financial services and technology. Prior to Ribbit, she served as Under Secretary of Treasury for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence and as Acting Deputy Secretary.  As Under Secretary, Sigal supervised four main components of Treasury (OFAC, FinCEN, the Office of Intelligence and Analysis, and the Office of Terrorist Financing and Financial Crimes).  Before serving at Treasury, Sigal was a partner at Proskauer in New York.  Sigal also previously served in a number of senior positions in the U.S. government, including as Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Division of the Justice Department, an AUSA in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, Counselor to Secretary of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff, and Counsel to the Deputy Attorney General. Sigal is also an Advisor to Chainalysis, is on the Boards of the Crypto Council for Innovation and the Financial Technology Association, is Co-Chair of the Center for a New American Security’s (CNAS) task force on FinTech, Crypto, and National Security, is a Member of the US Holocaust Memorial Museum Council, and Chair of the US Holocaust Memorial Museum's Collections & Acquisitions Committee.
