About Singapore FinTech Festival FinTech Excellence Awards

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the Singapore FinTech Association (SFA) invite nominations for the prestigious 2025 SFF FinTech Excellence Awards. Supported by PwC Singapore, these awards mark their tenth year, celebrating outstanding achievements in FinTech innovation.

This year, the Awards feature 6 distinct categories designed to spotlight groundbreaking initiatives that harness new technologies to revolutionise industry practices and enhance financial services delivery. Emphasising tangible outcomes, the Awards aim to recognise corporate entities and individuals who drive growth, foster financial inclusion, and pioneer transformative solutions.

Emerging FinTech Award​

 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Incorporated within the past three years with a FinTech solution implemented/deployed in any part of the world.
  • The FinTech company’s core business must be related to the finance industry.
  • The FinTech company does not need to be a regulated entity in Singapore.

Financial Inclusivity Award

 

Eligibility Criteria

  • The company must have implemented/deployed a solution with the objective of promoting financial inclusion and improving access to financial services (e.g. microinsurance, peer-to-peer lending).
  • The company’s core business must be related to the finance industry.
  • The company does not need to be a regulated entity in Singapore.

Regulatory Leader Award​

 

Eligibility Criteria

  • The company must have implemented/deployed an innovative solution to support regulatory compliance and governance.
  • The company’s core business must be related to the finance industry.

Sustainable Innovator Award​

 

Eligibility Criteria

  • The company must have implemented/deployed an ESG solution adopted by corporates.

  • Recognition of mentors in Singapore FinTech ecosystem.

  1. How do I register and submit my proposal?
    • You may register and submit your proposal here.

  2. Who can apply for the FinTech Excellence Awards?
    • We welcome all FinTech companies, Financial Institutions and Technology companies whose initiatives have contributed significantly to the FinTech ecosystem to apply for the FinTech Excellence Awards.

  3. Do I need to specify which category I am applying for in the registration?
    • Yes, there is a mandatory question in the registration form to indicate which category you're applying for.

  4. Can there be more than 1 entity applying with the same solution?
    • Yes, the organisers recognise that some solutions are a product of cooperation within the community. The organisers welcome applications from all organisations involved.

  5. Can a company submit more than 1 application?
    • Each company can only submit 1 application. If they have more than 1 solution, they have to submit their best solution.

  6. What are the key dates for SFF FinTech Excellence Awards that I need to remember?
    • Registration commences on 16 June 2025 and participants can submit proposals up till 25 July 2025, 23:59.
    • Judging period will be from August to October 2025 for all award categories.
    • Finalists are invited to attend the FinTech Award Ceremony on 13 November 2025, where winners will be announced.
