With an illustrious career spanning over three decades, Kevin Lam has navigated the complex financial landscapes of five Southeast Asian markets: Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia. His expertise encompasses a wide spectrum, from strategic planning and business management to digital innovation and technology transformation.

A passionate advocate for technology and innovation, Kevin has spearheaded the integration of AI into Hong Leong Bank's operations since joining in July 2023. These initiatives have already delivered a remarkable 15-fold increase in productivity in some areas, demonstrating the transformative power of AI in banking.

Prior to joining Hong Leong Bank, Kevin spearheaded UOB's TMRW Group Digital Banking, driving digital banking growth across key regional markets. His deep-rooted experience in ASEAN also includes leading UOB Indonesia as President Director and overseeing both Personal Financial Services and Wholesale Banking at UOB Malaysia.
Kevin holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the National University of Singapore and is an esteemed alumnus of the Asian Financial Leadership Program. He is also Council Member of the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (‘AICB’).
