Amit believes in the power of the digital economy, and it is with that belief that he founded Ecosystm, a next generation Technology Research and Advisory Platform, and its spinoff Kampd, a professional communities-led social learning platform. Ecosystm democratises access to cutting edge
innovation, through its acquisition of CoVentured, an Australia headquartered innovation discovery platform serving fortune 500 enterprises globally.

Amit founded his first tech start up at the age of 23, before entering the corporate world, assuming senior leadership positions as Managing Director and Regional Vice President, Asia Pacific at IDC; and Managing Director at Global Data where he applied his entrepreneurial experience to revamp the business model for market engagement across the Asia Pacific region.

As a passionate Indian Kiwi residing in Singapore, Amit is deeply connected to the Singapore, India, Indonesia, and New Zealand innovation ecosystems.

Driven by his passion for innovation and entrepreneurship, Amit currently serves as the Chairman of TiE’s Global Board of Trustees, the world’s largest non-profit entrepreneur organisation. He is also
an active angel investor and sits on the Boards of several digital start-ups. Amit is Co-Chair of MIIM Blended Finance Fund, focused on capacity building and SDG aligned ventures for impact in
emerging markets. Amit has been an advisor to the New Zealand government and is currently a global ambassador for the Singapore FinTech Festival.

Amit was recently honoured the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ for contributions to the start up & investment ecosystem, by the International Startup Foundation in the presence of senior Government Ministers, Leaders & Industry Captains.

He holds a Master's in Engineering Management with honors from the University of Auckland. When
he can, he loves taking road trips, especially exposing his twin boys to global cultures and lifestyles.
