Anthony Thomas has spent 25+ years in Banking and Fintech, and is currently the Global MD of Delivery Hero's Fintech group. Delivery Hero is present in 70 countries and operates a range of brands, including Baemin and Foodpanda in Asia. Fintech is responsible for enabling payments, wallets, cards and credit products for consumers, merchants and riders.

Anthony is also the Chairman of MoMo, Vietnam's largest e-wallet with over 31 million users, since 2020.

Prior to his current roles, Anthony served as CEO of Mynt, which operates GCash, the leading wallet in the Philippines. During his 5 years at Mynt, the company pioneered digital offerings in credit, savings, investments, and insurance. Anthony also held various roles at Citibank’s global consumer group from 1998 to 2015, across 7 markets in Asia, the US, and LATAM.

Anthony’s more recent experience in with MoMo, Delivery Hero's Fintech group and GCash highlights his expertise in fintech innovation to promote financial inclusion in emerging markets.
