Mayoran Rajendra is the Managing Director and Head of Asia Innovation Center, SMBC, where he leads digital strategy in the Asia-Pacific region. He manages investment and collaboration with promising Asian startups through the SMBC Asia Rising Fund, a corporate venture capital fund established jointly with the Incubate Fund in 2023.

Prior to the current role, he was the CEO and Country Leader of GE Digital Japan, where he led various Digital Transformation initiatives with large industrial companies in Japan and Asia Pacific region.

He received his master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Medical Robotics from Faculty of Engineering, The University of Tokyo.
