Christine Yu is Co-Founder of Sophia, a B2B financial education platform focused on women’s wealth in Asia and beyond. Through Sophia, Christine is on a mission to bring greater diversity, inclusion, empowerment and innovation to the investment ecosystem. Christine’s global career spans over two decades across impact investing, innovation, venture building and the international capital markets.

Prior to Christine’s venture building experience, the majority of Christine’s career was in the institutional debt capital markets in both Hong Kong and New York.

Passionate about investing, financial inclusion and the gender lens space, Christine co-founded a non-profit organization in Hong Kong focused on closing the gender investing gap called Girls Just Wanna Have Fund$ (www.gjwhf.org).

Christine is an impact investor, startup mentor and advisor. She holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Chicago and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
