Mr. Kojin Nakakita is Vice President and Executive Officer of Hitachi, Ltd. and currently Chairman of Hitachi Asia Ltd. and Hitachi India Pvt. Ltd. He spearheads Hitachi's growth in Asia Pasific, leading the regional strategies.
Mr. Nakakita began his carrer with Hitachi in 1988 in the Heavy Industry Department, Headquarter Sales Office. Over the years, he has been in various prtfolios developing Hitachi's business in socail infrastructure, particularly in the water treatment, smart cities and heavy industry equipment sector.
Between 2014 to 2017, Mr. Nakakita was based in India, heading Hitachi India Pvt. Ltd. as its Managing Director. From 2017 he relocated to Singapore follwoing his appointment as Corporate Officer of Hitach, Ltd., Chairman of both Hitachi Asia Ltd. and Hitachi India Pvt. Ltd.
