Arisa MATSUZAWA, CAMS/CCAS, is Deputy Director in the International Affairs Office of the Financial Services Agency. Involved in VASP supervision since April 2018, Arisa works closely with the self-regulatory body in the VA space, JVCEA, and VASPs to liaise with FATF and FSB stakeholders when necessary. She is a FATF Virtual Asset Contact Group member from the establishment and the penholder of the whole travel rule-impacted part of the revised FATF Guidance 2021 and subsequent targeted update report. Before joining JFSA, she worked as a senior auditor and AML/Sanction Compliance Officer at a US bank.
