Ying-Ying Tan is currently Global Head, Custody & Funds Product, Financing & Securities Services (FSS) and is based in Singapore with responsibility for Securities Services products across our global footprint.

Ying Ying has been with Standard Chartered since late 2017, most recently as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for FSS where she led the charge for “Securities Services Transformation”, a multi-year initiative that aims to support the future operating model of securities services in light of changing business and operating models.

Before being named COO in November 2020, she was the Head of Financing & Securities Services, ASEAN and South Asia for 3 years, where she successfully transformed the profile of Standard Chartered Securities Services in the region.

Ying Ying has almost three decades of experience in banking, with a wealth of knowledge across products, geographies and client segments, plus a proven track record in driving business performance

Prior to joining SCB in 2017, Ying-Ying was with Deutsche Bank as their Global Head of Product Management, and Regional Head of Securities Services, APAC for 3 years. She also had roles covering cash for both financial institutions and corporates, globally and regionally in her tenure with DB.

Ying-Ying is a Singaporean, and holds a Bachelor degree in Computer Science and Information Systems from the University of Singapore.
