Angad is a seasoned Payments and Commerce leader with two decades of experience building and scaling businesses across startups, growth companies, and big tech. He currently heads Razorpay’s business across Southeast Asia, where he is responsible for the end-to-end P&L.

Prior to Razorpay, Angad drove the adoption of payments across Meta’s messaging apps (WhatsApp and Messenger) in APAC. During his tenure, he was also responsible for promoting Meta’s commerce products across the region.

Before joining Meta, Angad was part of the leadership team that built Paytm’s e-commerce business in India. At Paytm, he wore multiple hats to scale the business—heading the Fashion and FMCG categories, driving overall platform growth, and managing marketing. He was responsible for driving the growth of SMEs on the platform, which ultimately accounted for over 60% of the volumes.

Earlier in his career, Angad was an entrepreneur, strategy consultant, and marketer. He has worked across Southeast Asia, India, Japan, and the Middle East. He is an INSEAD MBA alumnus.
