Eric Pascal

Eric has experiences and successes across product and project management, Web3, governance, risk and compliance, and shaping partnerships and ecosystems. Eric is the Global Head of Digital Currencies in Transaction Banking Cash Management at a global bank. Eric holds product management responsibilities for the delivery of future-focused product capabilities and optionalities on payment infrastructure, as well as to operationalise the global strategy for Digital Currencies and cash innovation. Successful in delivering EUR payments at scale on blockchain with live clients, Eric has developed the product set for monetization of DLT-based transaction banking tools. Eric’s background represents the confluence of Corporate, Investment Banking functions; ranging from relationship management, financial accounting, interest rate risk management, credit evaluation, interest rate and commodity trading, sales and structuring, corporate and structured finance, to lending and deposit pricing. Prior to the latest role, he drove FinTech Investments at the SC VENTURES business across a spectrum of industry issues as well as Venture Building. Deeply involved in the Group Risk Frameworks/Policies, Eric enabled Ventures’ positioning in the financial regulatory fabric. Before that, Eric helped shape Web3 initiatives in the Crypto, DeFi, DEX and alternative lending space after successes in management consulting, ex-CFO/CROs at several businesses, and a diverse spectrum of Corporate Banking roles in SCB, Citi, Wells, Deutsche, Nomura and DBS. Eric also holds a CFA, FRM, a number of accounting designations and is a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors.
