Rahul is a fixed income banker with deep expertise in Asian debt markets. He is passionate about equal access and transparency in bonds. Prior to starting BondbloX in 2016, Rahul was the global head for Financial Market IC Sales at Standard Chartered Bank. His team was based across all the major SCB dealing rooms and provided Fixed Income solutions to their clients.

During the early part of his career, he worked in the financial markets teams at Nomura (Singapore), Credit Suisse (India) and Citibank (HK & India). He graduated from Delhi College of Engineering and did his MBA from the Indian School of Business (Deans List), where he also received the HSBC scholarship for leadership. He did his Doctorate from the Singapore Management University (SMU), with a thesis on trust in non-human actors. He regularly teaches courses on bond markets and Digital Assets.  Rahul lives in Singapore with his wife and two daughters.
