Amanda is the Global Head of Public Policy & Government Relations for Block (NYSE: SQ) where she leads the team responsible for engaging with policymakers and community groups, developing policy strategy, and partnering with internal and external stakeholders on policy priorities for all of Block's business units (Square, Cash App, Afterpay, Spiral, TIDAL and TBD). Before Block, Amanda worked in Government Affairs at Uber where she led U.S federal engagement on behalf of the company.

Amanda has deep experience in government relations and public policy at senior levels. Prior to her time in private corpatiations, Amanda spent her career working for the U.S. Federal Government and on campaigns, including in the Obama White House as a Special Assistant to President Obama for Legislative Affairs, and as Special Assistant to Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel. She has also worked on political campaigns and at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and Democratic National Committee.
