Roopa Malhotra is the Head of Customer & Digital, APAC for Zurich Insurance Group and became a member of the Zurich Regional Committee in March 2022. She is also the member of the ‘Sustainable Proposition Council’ in Zurich APAC looking at newer sustainable product development.

Before joining Zurich Group, Ms. Malhotra gained extensive experience across various facets of the insurance, including CAT risk management, product development, and digital partnerships. Her career path includes roles at Chubb, AIG, and MSIG prior to joining Zurich.

A passionate Diversity and Inclusion advocate, Ms. Malhotra has been the founding member of Singapore’s Women in Insurance (WiN) association this year. She is also the sponsor and lead for ‘Female Leader Advocate Group’ (FLAG) at Zurich APAC. In recognition of her efforts, Ms. Malhotra was honoured as one of the rising female leaders in the region by Insurance Business Asia in 2021.

Ms. Malhotra holds an MBA in Finance and is certified in design thinking for innovation. Outside of her professional endeavours, she enjoys volunteering and likes to pursue fitness and dance.
