Charles is the CEO of GXS Bank (GXS), Singapore’s first digital bank for both consumers and businesses with a mission to make banking better for them.
A veteran banker with more than 20 years of experience in both retail banking and global markets, Charles joined from Citibank where he has held regional leadership roles across 17 markets. Most recently, he was the head of its retail banking business in Singapore overseeing Wealth Management, Bancassurance, Mortgage, Business Training, Sales and Network Distribution.
Charles is passionate about the role that digital banks can play in driving financial inclusion. At GXS, he leads a high-performing team of individuals with diverse backgrounds and expertise including banking, data and technology and customer experience with the aim of serving Singapore’s underserved segments.
Charles holds a Bachelor’s degree with a double major in Statistics and Political Science from the National University of Singapore.
