Alan is head of Transfer Solutions at Mastercard, the business unit responsible for Mastercard’s propositions in the disbursements, remittances, B2B cross-border payments and consumer bill payment segments. Product assets managed within Transfer Solutions include Mastercard Send, Cross-Border Services, Bill Pay and Pay by Account.

Previously, Alan was Chief Business Development Officer of CLS, the systemically important global foreign exchange settlement utility.
Prior to these roles, he had a distinguished legal career as General Counsel of CLS and Barclays Africa Corporate and Investment Banking and as Global Head of Transaction Legal at Dresdner Kleinwort.
