Liu Tianwei is a co-founder of StraitsX, the issuer of the world's first Singapore Dollar stablecoin, XSGD, and XIDR, the StraitsX Indonesian Rupiah stablecoin. Tianwei keeps StraitsX focused on its vision to realise real-world use cases of stablecoins. Along with the rest of the StraitsX management team, he has engaged closely with industry leaders and MAS to drive initiatives such as Project Orchid, enabling the issuance of Purpose Bound Money which leverages on blockchain technology to serve as a payout mechanism for a programmable and interoperable digital Singapore Dollar.
