Arijit Chakraborty is the Managing Director, APAC for Cover Genius, the insurtech for embedded protection. Cover Genius protects the customers of the world’s largest digital companies, including Booking Holdings and Hopper. XCover, its global distribution platform, is also available at Amazon, eBay, and Shopee. In his role, Arijit is responsible for leading regional teams in Singapore, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, South Korea, Japan and ANZ and continuing to expand the company’s insurance and commercial partnerships within the region.

Prior to Cover Genius, Arijit was in senior management for leading global insurers including Manulife, and Zurich. In recent years, he has been building insurtech and fintech businesses in the region and has expertise across strategy, partnerships, products, legal and governance. He is also actively involved in the start-up ecosystem.
