Allen is currently plying his trade instilling and nurturing the Innovation & Entrepreneurship (I&E) spirit at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore. Through empathy-driven design and curation of I&E experiences, and an ever-expanding skill set, he aims to deliver value and impact through education & training, business mentoring and community-building for students, staff and corporates.

As a certified Instructor of Human-Centered Design, Allen believes in harnessing the power of contextual empathy in solving problems and creating learning experiences. Through hackathons, sprints and workshops, he has helped develop design thinking capabilities in organisations such as Central Provident Fund Board (CPFB), Institute of Technical Education (ITE), Manulife, OCBC Bank and VITAL.

Allen is also a Co-Creator of Entrepreneurship First Steps, an online course designed to teach entrepreneurship basics for pre-polytechnic students and aspiring young entrepreneurs.
