Kwan is responsible for building OCBC's next generation transaction banking capabilities leveraging digital currencies, distributed ledger technology and smart contracts. Kwan leads the Purpose Bound Money (PBM) initiative for OCBC under Project Orchid, a multi-phase industry project examining the various use cases and technical aspects pertinent to a CBDC system in Singapore.
