Jeremy Fox-Geen is Chief Financial Officer at Circle, a global financial technology company that enables businesses to harness the power of digital currencies and public blockchains for payments, commerce, and financial applications. He is responsible for overseeing Circle’s accounting, FP&A, internal audit, investor relations, tax and treasury functions, including the management of the USDC reserve. In addition, he is responsible for Circle’s corporate development, institutional markets and venture capital activities.
Jeremy brings 25 years of corporate financial and financial service experience to Circle from various executive leadership positions, including CFO, management consultant, and investment banker. Prior to joining Circle, Jeremy was CFO at leading innovative real estate finance companies iStar (NYSE: STAR) and Safehold (NYSE: SAFE). He was previously CFO at McKinsey & Co. North America, where he also served as a leader in corporate and institutional banking and corporate finance consulting practices, helping clients craft compelling strategies, build effective and efficient organizations, drive value, and manage risk. Other senior leadership roles include Banking Strategy Leader at PwCand Finance Transformation Leader at Citi. He began his career as an investment banker advising on M&A and capital raising, covering the internet and technology sectors.
He holds a master’s degree in mathematics and philosophy from the University of Oxford.
