Thomas Zhu is a Managing Director at Hamsa, the leading real world asset tokenization, trading, and programmable payment platform serving the world’s largest financial institutions in Asia, US, LATAM.
Thomas is also Head of the Digital Assets Think Tank (DATT) at the FinTech Centre of Hong Kong Polytechnic University's Faculty of Business. He was a former Goldman Sachs Executive Director completing over 100 IPOs and secondary transactions in New York, Boston, and Hong Kong. In 2022, Thomas began a FinTech Doctorate at PolyU and founded the DATT focused on real world asset (RWA) tokenization and stablecoins. Thomas currently leads APAC business for Hamsa, partnering with Asia’s largest banks, asset managers, and regulators to develop compliant tokenized products and stablecoins. Thomas frequently speaks at Web 3.0 events, advocating for Hong Kong and Singapore's virtual assets regulatory policy development.
