Anju, a seasoned banker with 30 years of banking experience, joined ING on 1 November 2021 as Head of Wholesale Banking Asia Pacific. In this role, she drives ING’s Wholesale Banking strategy for Asia Pacific, and is responsible for the performance of 11 markets across the region, namely Australia, China, Hong Kong SAR, India, Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam.
Prior to ING, Anju worked in senior leadership roles in global banks in Singapore, Sydney, New York, Hong Kong SAR and India. She has deep experience in corporate and investment banking, particularly in the areas of business origination, risk & governance and asset restructuring.
Anju’s previous banking role before ING was at Westpac Institutional Bank as Chief Risk Officer. Before Westpac, she was with Bank of America (BofA) for almost 16 years and worked in New York and Asia.
Anju is a Corporate Board Member of the European Chamber of Commerce, Singapore; and a Board Member of ING Bank (Australia) Limited.
Anju holds an MBA from University of Delhi and a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Chemistry from St Stephen’s College of University of Delhi.
