Hugo Coelho is a research lead at the Centre for Alternative Finance of the Cambridge Judge Business School. Previously, he worked as political advisor to the President of the Eurogroup, as partner at political research firm Forefront, and as director of EU policy at cryptoasset exchange Binance. He started his career as a political journalist and published "Resgatados – Os Bastidores da Ajuda Financeira a Portugal", an investigative journalism book on the Euro sovereign crisis. He holds a Masters in European and Comparative Social Policy from the London School of Economics.
