Christian Kajeneri is the Director of Payment Systems at the National Bank of Rwanda, where he plays a pivotal role in the development and regulation of the country’s financial infrastructure. With over a decade of experience across fintech, telecommunications, and banking, Christian has held senior positions at MTN Rwanda’s Mobile Money, Equity Bank Rwanda, and Ericsson, contributing significantly to Rwanda’s digital financial ecosystem. He holds an MBA from the Africa Leadership University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from the University of Rwanda. Christian is also the Chairperson of the City of Kigali Council, leading strategic development initiatives aimed at transforming the capital’s urban landscape.
