Lesley Paterson is a 5 x World Champion professional triathlete turned writer/producer, based in Los Angeles. Originally from Scotland, Lesley’s has undergraduate and graduate degrees in Film and owns Brave Art Entertainment, a film production company focused on film and TV projects both scripted and unscripted. Most notably she co-wrote and executive produced ALL QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT (Netflix, 2022), directed by Edward Berger, which went on to win seven BAFTA’s, including Best Adapted Screenplay and a National Board of Review win for Best Adapted Screenplay. In 2022, Lesley was nominated for an Academy Award for the Best Adapted Screenplay. The film went on to win four Academy Awards, including Best International Feature.

Having also successfully built a large endurance coaching business, done public speaking all over the world and written a best-selling book with late husband Simon Marshall, she has built a personal brand around resilience and bravery. None more that her latest endeavor where she stars in a documentary by the infamous Ondi Timoner that follows the love tourn journey to save her husband’s life against the formidable enemy of cancer. As she now embarks on her new life, her focus is to build out her slate of films/events that can inspire and change the world with bold and thought provoking messages.
