Vipul Parekh, Co-Founder, Bigbasket.com

Vipul is a Co-Founder of BigBasket and leads the marketing and finance functions of the firm. Bigbasket is Vipul’s third entrepreneurial venture.

Prior to BigBasket Vipul was Investment Director at Peepul Capital, a growth stage PE Firm and was responsible for making new investments. Prior to that Vipul Cofounded Fabmall in 2002 (a grocery retail business acquired by the Aditya Birla group and rebranded as ‘More”) and before that Fabmart.com, one of India’s first ecommerce businesses.

Vipul has worked with Wipro Ltd as part of the Vice-Chairman’s office looking after new business development before.

Vipul has a postgraduate degree in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and is a Distinguished Alumnus of the Institute.
