A business leader with over 35 years of experience, Kirti’s most recent engagement was with nasscom, the industry association for the tech sector in India, as the CEO of the Skills Council for IT. This included providing the industry perspective in the design and implementation of publicly funded skill development programs, representing the industry point of view during policy deliberations, contributing to employability and industry friendly policy formulation and being the architect of the National Technology Skilling Platform, FutureSkills Prime. This globally recognised program is a joint initiative of nasscom and the Ministry of IT, Government of India and has become an example of a highly successful public private partnership.
With her hands-on experience in designing and implementing skill development program at scale and building the digital skills framework for India, she represented India at the G20 during the deliberations on Digital Economy working group, focusing on Digital Skilling as well as during the Global Partnership on AI held in India in 2022.
Kirti completed her B.A. in Economics from Delhi University and MBA from IIM, Calcutta, India’s premier management institute. Along the way, she became a certified Executive Coach and a Certified Practitioner of Learning and Performance from ATD (Association for Talent Development). Her career has evolved from an Economics student to a specialization in Finance, dealing with the challenges of entrepreneurship, discovering her passion for Training & Development, and finally to leading skilling initiatives in the technology sector. She believes that this is a testimony to her commitment to innovative thinking & continuous learning and demonstrates her heartfelt belief in its power to bring about personal and collective success.
