Carolyn is currently seconded from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) to the Institute of Banking and Finance as CEO-designate.

Prior to this, Carolyn was posted to MAS London Office as the Chief Representative from 2019-2023. Previously she was the Executive Director and Department Head for MAS Organisation Development and Communications. During 2015-2017, Carolyn took on responsibilities as the Executive Director and Head for Financial Centre Development Department, driving the development of Singapore as a global financial centre including banking sector development, financial sector manpower strategies, grant and tax policies. She was also the Director of Prudential Policy Division, overseeing prudential policies for Singapore’s banking sector. Carolyn also served as Business Development Division Head from 2009-2013, in charge of growing global and private banking segments in Singapore and MAS International Advisory Panel engagements.

Before joining MAS, Carolyn was with Enterprise Singapore and Ministry of Trade and Industry.
