Sandra is a Lead of Blockchain and Digital Assets work at the World Economic Forum. In this role, she covers the governance of blockchain technology and digital currencies, in particular tokenization, central bank digital currency, and digital asset regulation. Previously, she worked at the World Bank Treasury focusing on capital markets and how innovation and blockchain technology can be used to promote development. Sandra has authored several papers on these topics and actively collaborates with financial institutions on innovation and improving financial markets.
