Ms Shi Wei was appointed the General Manager of Bank of China Singapore Branch in May 2024.
Prior to this appointment, she was the General Manager of BOC Globalisation Office and Risk Management Department. Ms Shi joined Bank of China in 1993, and held various managing positions including Assistant General Manager and Chief Risk Officer of Corporate Banking Division, as well as Deputy General Manager of Financial Institutions Department in BOC Head Office, and Deputy General Manager and Chief Risk Officer of BOC London Branch.
Ms Shi graduated from Renmin University of China with a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degrees in Finance. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Baruch College, City University of New York.
