Georgios is a theoretical physicist and mathematician working as a Senior Research Scientist at the Quantum Technologies Group of HSBC. His work lies in the intersection of quantum computing, artificial intelligence, optimization and computer science, with emphasis on financial applications. He holds a PhD in Mathematics from Trinity College Dublin, The University of Dublin.
Georgios is also Adjunct Senior Researcher and Lecturer at the Czech Technical University in Prague where he supervises 2 PhD students and teaches a course on Quantum Computing and Randomized Algorithms.
