Shoko is Chief Investment Officer at UntroD Capital Asia, a VC focusing on the commercialisation of groundbreaking science & technologies that tackle pressing environmental and social issues. Group offices are in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Tokyo with incubation centres focused on deep tech / advanced manufacturing and the inhouse network of 60+ PhDs/MS as well as 50+ industrial partners.
Shoko has over 20 years of investment experience both in public and private equities. Prior to joining UntroD Capital, she co-founded a climate tech startup, scaled and managed the exit, also held a C-level position at FTSE 100 company in charge of developing and implementing DX/GX projects at large scale across SEA, South Asia, Middle East and Latin America.
Shoko has a BA from the University of Tokyo, an MBA from INSEAD.
