Lucy is part of the team responsible for expanding the carbon market capabilities of Standard Chartered Bank and being the internal subject matter experts on carbon markets, including both the compliance and the project based markets, in order to help clients understand and manage their carbon exposure both now and in the future as policy evolves, especially in Asia. The team is also responsible for developing first of a kind finance solutions to help scale the international carbon markets.
She is part of both the Singapore Sustainable Finance Association, working on creating an ASEAN carbon trading hub in Singapore, and also TRACTION, a MAS led initiative looking to finance the early decommissioning of coal fired power plants through transition credits.
Lucy has been in Singapore for over ten years and had previously worked across shipping and commodities before moving to banking in early 2023.
