Dr. Zhilong Xie is an Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics. He has published some high-quality papers in prestigious academic journals and has led various major research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education's Humanities and Social Sciences projects, and the Sichuan Provincial Department of Science and Technology. Dr. Xie has authored one monograph and published two textbooks. He is the course lead for the online MOOC “Introduction to Python Programming” and the director of two provincial-level first-class courses. Dr. Xie has also led teams in the Chengdu 80 International FinTech Product Design Competition, the China College Students Computer Design Competition, the “Huaxi Cup” Financial Innovation Application Competition, and the Guanghua Entrepreneurship Competition, achieving excellent results. His research interests span FinTech, big data analytics, data mining, machine learning, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and quantitative trading.
