Professionally, I am the Group Chief Strategy Officer at WeLab, Hong Kong's largest homegrown fintech, with a large pan-Asian presence in HK, mainland China, Indonesia and soon Malaysia. Having joined WeLab 6 years ago, I have been part of the journey where we have grown from startup – to establish fintech player – and in the process building 2 digital banks in Hong Kong, and also Indonesia from 0 to 1. Prior to joining WeLab, she spent 13 years as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs in different markets HK, London and spent 4 years in Singapore - a place and market that is close to my heart.

Mentoring individuals and building the Fintech community. I am extremely grateful to a lot of mentors (formally or informally) I have had in my life to craft who I am today, and it's is imperative that we all do our part to 'do what others have done for you.' I am frequently a speaker at public events, conferences, forums, as well as acted as mentor for formal programs such as AustCham HK’s mentoring program (3 years), Women In Tech, She Loves Tech, Women In Tech lounge at RISE 2019. On the fintech side, I just finished my 4 year term serving as Board Member of the Fintech Association of Hong Kong, with strong connections to Asia’s fintech community – but most importantly I look forward to the 2 way learning experience in meeting mentees, through active listening and responding where appropriate.
