Joining Sumitomo Bank, a predecessor bank of SMBC (Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation), in 1994, Tamaki Shibuya was engaged in various field across the bank including retail banking business, credit card business, transaction banking business and human resources management.
After her service as General Manager of Strategic Business Development Department of the Sumitomo Mitsui Card Company in 2020, she was appointed as General Manager of Transaction Business Planning Department in 2021. She was appointed as Executive Officer of SMBC (Head of Transaction Business Division) in April 2022.
Tamaki Shibuya graduated from the University of Tokyo (BA).
