Charmaine rejoined EDBI in mid-2023 as Partner and Co-Head of ICT Investments, bringing with her over a decade of investment experience in venture debt and venture capital, working with tech and startup ecosystems. EDBI is a Singapore-based global investor in select high growth technology sectors ranging from Information & Communication Technology (ICT), Emerging Technology (ET), Healthcare (HC) and other strategic industries.

Previously, she was a founding member of EvolutionX, a US$500 million growth debt fund by DBS and Temasek that she helped establish in late 2021. Prior to EvolutionX, Charmaine led the DBS Venture Debt practice from 2018 to 2021.

She began her investment career at EDBI, where she was responsible for growth-stage equity investments in the ICT sector. Before her investment career, she spent several years in management consulting and banking.

Charmaine graduated with First Class Honours in Aerospace Engineering from Nanyang Technological University and holds a Master of Science in Finance from Imperial College London.
