Kalpana is the Regional Head, South Asia of Women's World Banking and comes with 25+ years of experience in financial services in retail banking and Insurance. She has worked in organizations like Citibank, HSBC, Edelweiss Financial Services in various roles across functions. In her various roles in managing strategy, sales & distribution, HR and customer experience, she has developed a keen understanding of customer centricity and approaching solutions through the customer lens. She has also spent time in HR functions and has deep experience in building and supporting leadership development.
Kalpana is passionate about supporting women’s empowerment and in an individual capacity is a certified mental health counsellor to low-income women and an advisor and Board Member in key not-for-profits in India.
