A performance-driven professional with over 25 years of expertise in human resources strategic and operations management across the APAC, Karen joined SMBC as the Head of Human Capital Management, APAC in November 2019. Prior to SMBC, she was the APAC Co-Head of Human Resources and Global Head of Talent for Nomura International and previously worked at Lehman Brothers Asia as well as Goldman Sachs. Karen is a qualified Chartered Accountant before taking on the HR profession and has worked in external and internal audit roles in the United Kingdom and Hong Kong.
